Kane content to lighten the load
Harry Kane has been used to ploughing a lone furrow in attack for Tottenham Hotspur for the last two seasons, but says he is now happy to have Vincent Janssen for company.
The England striker was the only recognised front man at White Hart Lane last term, but remained injury free and finished as the Premier League’s top goalscorer, helping fire the club to their best position since 1990.
But with a Champions League campaign now to embark upon Kane will be given a helping hand, after Spurs splashed £17million to bring in Janssen from AZ Alkmaar.

And Kane is pleased to have an ally.
“Vincent is a great player, he likes to hold the ball up and bring others into the game and I’m sure we’ll play together this season,” said the 23-year-old.
“He’s strong and has a good finish when he gets the chance. He’s a great addition to the squad.”
It remains to be seen whether Janssen plays second fiddle to Kane, or the two are paired together.
But Kane is content either way.
He added: “I’ve played number 10 before and I’m not too worried going in and playing off him.”
