Koscielny excited for Toure’s Arsenal return
Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny hopes to be inspired by seeing Kolo Toure back at the Emirates this weekend.
The Ivorian defender, who made 225 appearances for the Gunners between 2002 and 2009, will reunite with members of Arsene Wenger’s Invincibles team for a friendly legends clash with Fabio Capello’s Milan Glorie.
And Koscielny can’t wait to see Toure back in Arsenal colours, alongside the likes of fellow French stars Emmanuel Petit, Robert Pires and Sylvain Wiltord.

“I have the same career like him. He came here, nobody knew him and he became a very good centre back for the Arsenal and he had an amazing career in England,” said Koscielny.
“He is strong, he likes duels, aerial duels or on the floor, one against ones and he did a very good job for Arsenal.
“The Invincibles were amazing for Arsenal. They had an amazing season and there are a lot of French, like Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, Patrick Vieira and some good centre backs like Kolo Toure in there.”
