Simpson eyes long-awaited win over Arsenal
Leicester City right-back Danny Simpson is relishing the chance to get some points on the board when the champions welcome last year’s runners-up to the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Both teams suffered opening weekend defeats, the Foxes going down 2-1 to Hull City while Arsenal suffered a 4-3 home defeat to Liverpool.
Two of Leicester’s three league defeats last term came at the hands of Arsene Wenger’s men and they have not beaten the Gunners since November 1994 – a season in which they went on to finish in 12th place while the Foxes were relegated.
But Simpson believes there is no better fixture to inspire a revival from his team.
“We’ll do what we always do,” insisted the 29-year-old.

“Last year we reacted well to defeats and we’ll do the same this week.
“We’ve got a week now to look at this, analyse it and learn from it, and move on quickly.
“Teams will always give their best, but maybe they’ll give that extra five per cent because people want to beat the champions.
“That’s something we’ve got to get used to.
“There’s no better match to come next than a home game against Arsenal.”
