Pulis: Baggies fans need to have a little patience

Tony Pulis has called for calm despite West Bromwich Albion’s struggles at the start of the season.

Albion slipped to a 1-0 loss at Bournemouth last weekend and Pulis has come in for plenty of stick from the Albion fans for his negative style of play.

The club are currently in the middle of a takeover with Guochuan Lai believed to be on the verge of completing his acquisition of the club.

And Pulis has asked the fans to show a bit of patience before improvements arrive.

“I think, as a club, we are going to be in for a tough few months,” the Welshman said.

“I’m being as honest as I can. We all need to get together. We are the highest ranked team in the West Midlands and lets stay that way. We need the supporters.

“Let’s get together and push the club on, it’s a great club, and we’ve got to work to make sure we maintain the position we are in.

“The most important thing at the moment is concentrating on what we’ve got and getting those players to play to a level that will get us results.

“Then once the window opens in January, having a better run at it.”
