Traore targeting new memories at Boro

Adama Traore cannot wait to get started at new club Middlesbrough following his move from Aston Villa.

The tricky winger – formerly of Barcelona – joined Villa last year but moved to Boro at the end of this window with Albert Adomah moving in the opposite direction.

And the former Spanish Under-19 international admits is now time to write his own bit of history at Boro.

“It is true I have lot of experience, with Barcelona and Aston Villa,” he said.

“Those were great experiences, this is a new one and I need to work hard.

“I am very happy to come here, it is important for me to come here to develop my football, but I have come here to work for the team.

“It is important for every player to progress, to come to a big club. For this opportunity I am happy and grateful.”
