Travelling not so Brad says Guzan
Brad Guzan admits some of his journeys for international duty are the envy of his new Boro team-mates – even if the travelling might be gruelling.
Guzan is on arguably the most exotic assignment this weekend as the United States play a World Cup qualifier in island nation of St Vincent and Grenadines, before taking on Trinidad and Tobago in Florida.
Guzan said: “There has been a lot of travelling to get here, but to represent your country at any time is special and this is another chance to help try and qualify for another World Cup.
“We’re looking forward to this game, but I have been watching what has been happening back in my new home and I’m looking forward to getting back to Middlesbrough and meeting my new team mates.

“It has been a good few weeks for me personally. My new team has got off to a decent start in the Premier League but right now my focus is on these two games ahead, then getting back to Boro and hopefully keeping up the good work.”
Elsewhere, Viktor Fischer found the net for Denmark in their friendly match against Liechtenstein while Gaston Ramirez could prevent ten-man Uruguay slipping to defeat against Argentina in their World Cup qualification.
Emilio Nsue is on another unusual assignment – as his Equatorial Guinea face South Sudan in a World Cup qualifier.
