Deschamps: Pogba not feeling the pressure at Manchester United
The spotlight continues to grow harsher on Paul Pogba at Old Trafford after a run of performances that hardly befits a man with an £89m price tag.
But France boss Didier Deschamps is in no doubt that the 23-year-old will eventually find his feet at Manchester United – and has called for patience in the meantime.
While Pogba has by no means been a disaster so far, a return of just one goal without an assist suggests he has yet to stamp his authority on the Premier League.
The combative midfielder earned man-of-the-match honours against Leicester City last week but on Sunday was guilty of missing two gilt-edged chances as Stoke held the Red Devils to a draw.

However, upon his return to the France camp ahead of the World Cup qualifiers with Belarus and the Netherlands, Deschamps insists the pressure to impress is not getting to Pogba.
“He has changed his club team and needs to find his bearing with his new team-mates,” Deschamps said.
“With Paul, we always expect more. When he does something neutral, often it is not enough. He is someone we expect to make assists in every game – there is an expectation that is too large.
“Paul is okay in his own head. He knows what he wants.”
