Eriksen: No weak link for Pochettino’s Spurs
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen believes the versatility his side have shown has been a vital component in their impressive form over recent weeks.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side made it five wins in succession in all competitions with Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Manchester City – despite missing star striker Harry Kane.
Spurs became the first side to defeat the Premier League leaders this season, with Heung-Min Son taking up a central attacking role – a skill which has seen him find the net five times already this season.

It took the South Korean until January to hit the same haul last season, but Eriksen feels it’s a team mentality which has left them as the division’s only unbeaten side in league action, with no apparent weak part of their squad.
“Everyone wants to play, everyone wants to win,” said the Danish international.
“We’ve got a very, very strong team and, even if we rotate a few players, the new ones will come in and fill the spots perfectly.
“Every player who comes in can play in different positions too. Sonny, for example, can play as a striker as well. He’s a different type to Harry Kane or Vincent Janssen so he filled in differently (against City) but it was the perfect mix on Sunday because City dropped a lot and there was a lot of space to run in between.
“At the moment there are no weak links and the result is that it only makes us stronger.”
