Fuchs looks to rekindle last season’s Foxes spirit
Christian Fuchs believes he has seen glimpses of last season’s spirit return to the King Power Stadium as Leicester look to improve on a mixed start to the Premier League.
The Foxes have enjoyed most of their success so far this year in the Champions League, where they have won all three games, rather than on the domestic front.
Tricky away trips to Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all ended in heavy defeats for Claudio Ranieri’s men as they struggled to replicate last season’s performance levels.
But with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace at the weekend they moved up to 12th in the league table, just four points behind Everton in sixth.
And after scoring his first goal in Leicester City colours, Fuchs believes the fight and tenacity which saw them reap such huge rewards last season, is finally back on full show.
“We stuck together as a team, we fought for every inch on the field and that’s how we were successful last season,” he said.

“I think we found our performance again and we’re looking forward to the next couple of games.
“We need to collect points, especially in the Premier League as the UEFA Champions League has been good so far.”
City face Spurs at White Hart Lane this weekend before travelling to FC Copenhagen on November 2.
