Guardiola sticking to passing philosophy with City
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is confident in his style of football and won’t be changing his philosophy of passing out from the back.
Questions were raised after goalkeeper Claudio Bravo’s mistake as he came out of his area, was forced to handle a Luis Suarez shot and was immediately shown the red card.
City, who were already 1-0 down at that stage, saw Lionel Messi scored twice more to complete his hat-trick while Neymar add a fourth before the final whistle to rub salt in the Citizens’ wounds.
But the City boss will be sticking to the plan which is thought to be a major factor behind his decision to sign the Chilean goalkeeper for £15.4m over the summer.

“I spoke with Claudio; he is disappointed but it’s part of the game,” he said.
“Football is a game of mistakes; he knows what he did, but until the last day of my career as a coach, I will try to play from our goalkeeper.
“There are moments you have to kick the ball out, but he tried to play it and sometimes it happens.
“He has a lot of experience and he’s one of best goalkeepers of the last 10 years. I don’t have any doubts about him. He is disappointed but he will learn from that.”
