Valencia tipped for Everton stardom
Enner Valencia is being tipped to make a big impact at Goodison Park by Ecuador compatriot and former Everton midfielder Segundo Castillo.
The 26-year-old forward completed a season-long loan switch from West Ham United in August, but so far has been limited to 33 minutes of Premier League football.
However Castillo, the first Ecuadorian to play for the Toffees, believes Valencia will soon have a key role to play in Ronald Koeman’s side.
“Enner is a good person,” said Castillo, who enjoyed a season-long loan in Merseyside from Red Star Belgrade in 2008/09.
“I know him and I know he will adjust to his team-ates and the club.

“He is a humble man and that will help him get adjusted quickly.
“For me, his best position is as a ‘second’ forward. He has so much mobility to play and that way he doesn’t feel trapped by the defensive players who are fixed in that area.
“The qualities of Enner is that he is a player that can play from the inside and from the outside.
“I became very happy knowing that for the second time in their history, a club like Everton was going to have a player from Ecuado.
“I wish every success to Enner Valencia at the football club.”
