Dyche: Burnley have room for improvement
Burnley still have plenty of room for development according to manager Sean Dyche, despite sitting ninth in the Premier League.
It’s been a strong start for the Clarets in the top tier with four wins and two draws from their first 11 games.
But Dyche knows his side must continue to learn and adapt throughout the season if they’re to remain competitive and avoid relegation.
“I don’t think you’ve heard me talk about brands very often, I want the team to be flexible and learn how to win games,” he said.
“That’s where it starts for me, the outcome, winning. At this level it’s more difficult.

“We’ve got a good handle on what allows teams to win in the Championship, and in this division it is quality – and that can be expensive – but it’s also the understanding of the team and that has to change.
“It feels like we’ve given ourselves a good base to work from, because we know it’s relentless.
“The Premier League challenges you every game. It’s to be enjoyed, but it’s not to be thought too deeply on as if there’s some kind of magic to it.
“We know we’re going to have to play hard, and continue to learn and improve.”
