Traore delighted to make Boro impact
It took some time for Adama Traore to become a focal point in Middlesbrough’s plans, but the winger admits he is relishing his time shining on the Teesside stage.
Having signed from Aston Villa over the summer, it wasn’t until September when the 20-year-old made his Boro debut, coming off the bench in his side’s home defeat to Crystal Palace.
But it took until October’s stalemate against Arsenal for the Spaniard to get his first start, rewarding Aitor Karanka’s faith with a scintillating performance, quickly becoming a fan favourite at the Riverside.
And while Traore was delighted to shine for his fans, the youngster insists it’s the team performance that must take precedence when weighing up the impact on the pitch.

“I’m happy to have joined this good team,” he said. “The manager and teammates have been really good with me since I got here so it’s been easy for me to settle.
