Watford defender Prodl not impressed by Stoke
Stoke City may have beaten Watford on Sunday but Hornets defender Sebastian Prodl claims the Potters were not that good.
Heurelho Gomes’ own goal following Charlie Adam’s header against the post was enough for Mark Hughes’ side to claim the three points.
Watford had two shots on target in the entire game at Vicarage Road, one more than Stoke, and the defeat leaves them eighth in the Premier League table.
Stoke had a poor start to the campaign, with four defeats from their opening five matches, but they now sit 11th after four wins from their last six.

But Prodl insists his side deserved at least a point after matching Stoke for much of the game.
“Stoke are a good team, it was an equal game and we lost 1-0 unfortunately,” he said.
“We were unlucky, it was a close game again and Stoke have been in the Premier League for 10 years, we were equal to them but I don’t think it’s a big shame to lose against Liverpool or Stoke.
“The way we lost wasn’t that good, but I didn’t see they were that good.”
