Ranieri optimistic Foxes away form will get better
Manager Claudio Ranieri is confident that Leicester City’s away form can improve as they look to end a rotten run of form away from the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes have picked up just a single point, a 1-1 draw with Tottenham, from their eight away league fixtures so far this season.
A 4-2 victory against Manchester City had led some to predict an end to Leicester’s recent woes but Marc Pugh’s goal saw them suffer a 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

It leaves the Foxes 14th in the Premier League table but Ranieri insisted his side were unlucky not to earn at least a draw at Vitality Stadium.
“I know in our eight matches away, we have got only one point, but I think we can improve. I’m sure in the next eight matches, we will do something more,” he said.
“I think the result is too harsh for us because we deserved more. In the first half in our best moment, we had a chance to score with a corner. Then, they scored a goal.
“In the second half, we created more chances than them, but we didn’t score. Then, Bournemouth won. Well done to Bournemouth, but I think we deserved a draw.
“It’s okay, the performance was good for us. Of course, it wasn’t possible to make the same performance as Man City, but it was good. The desire was good and the concentration was good.”
