Foster wants Baggies to forget ‘best team’ Tottenham
Ben Foster may have seen four goals fly past him as Tottenham ran riot against West Brom at White Hart Lane on Saturday, but the keeper has urged his side to dust down and move on from the ‘best team’ he has faced.
The 33-year-old could do little to stop Mauricio Pochettino’s side as Harry Kane hit a hat-trick and a Christian Eriksen shot took a wicked deflection for a Gareth McAuley own-goal.
With Tony Pulis’ side still in eighth place in the Premier League – and Spurs up to second with that win – Foster wants his teammates to concentrate on returning to their previously strong form by dispatching David Moyes’ struggling Sunderland when they visit the Hawthorns on Saturday.

“In all fairness that’s probably the best team I have played against,” admitted Foster.
“Fair play to them, it’s just one we will have to move on from.
“We went three at the back to try and get back into the game but sadly we couldn’t get going.
“We have to lick our wounds and forget about it as quickly as possible.
“Everyone has their ups and downs.
“We need to get over this one and move on to next weekend’s game against Sunderland.”
