Kingsley confident Clement can be Swans saviour
His first game as Swansea manager ended in defeat, but Paul Clement has what it takes to restore pride at the Liberty Stadium according to defender Stephen Kingsley.
The former Derby County manager took over from Bob Bradley earlier this week, but his influence wasn’t enough to stop the Swans crashing out of the FA Cup at the hands of Hull City, themselves with a new man in charge.
But left-back Kingsley insists the signs are there for the Welsh side to pick themselves up for the rest of the season.
But while they currently sit in the relegation zone, the 22-year-old admits each of their remaining top-flight games is now set to be a cup final in their own right, determined his side have the fight to escape the drop.

“We are enjoying working under him and I think we are excited about what’s coming up,” said Kingsley.
“Obviously we are in a difficult situation, but with the way he wants to play and the way he wants to get after teams, it’s going to be really interesting to see what happens in the next few games.
“I think we are going to improve individually and as a team. It’s going to be interesting. I think we are all looking forward to finding out what’s ahead.”
