Ramsey calls for better Gunners starts
Arsenal have made a habit of coming from behind in recent weeks but Aaron Ramsey admits they need to start games better if they are to challenge for silverware come the end of the season.
The Gunners followed up their stunning 3-3 draw at Bournemouth, when they came from three down to claim a point, with a 2-1 FA Cup victory over Preston.
In that tie they trailed early on when Callum Robinson opened the scoring at Deepdale, but Ramsey equalised before Olivier Giroud’s last-gasp winner.
And while there was some relief at reaching the fourth round of the tournament for the 21st straight season under Arsène Wenger, Ramsey knows recent first-half performances have not been good enough.

He said: “We definitely need to start the games better to give ourselves a bit of an easier job to do.
“We’ve shown good character to come back from losing positions but it’d be nice now if we could turn that around and start off by leading the game.
“Yeah I’m happy that one’s finally gone in, so that gave us a bit of momentum then to go on and get a result.
“We keep playing, we keep going until the end and we’ve scored a load of late goals in the Premier League, the Champions League and now the FA Cup.
“I think also that we had that belief to keep going until the end.”
