Elmohamady relishing break with Hull teammates
Ahmed Elmohamady believes Hull will benefit from a week off as they continue to get to grips with the training methods of manager Marco Silva.
The Tigers are not in action this weekend having already been knocked out of the FA Cup, and are instead heading to Portugal for a training camp.
They have impressed under Silva since he replaced Mike Phelan as boss, and as they look to work themselves out of relegation trouble, Elmohamady is adamant that this opportunity to bond will serve them well.

He said: “It’s good to go away for a few days and get to know a few of the new lads who have not been in the building very long.
“The manager can get everyone together for a few days before a big game against Burnley and we’re all looking forward to it. It is important that we all come back at 100 percent to take on Burnley and we will be ready for the challenges to come in the next few months.
“It also gives us an extended amount of time to understand more what the new manager wants from us and hopefully this can only benefit us. It’s going to be a tough run for us both mentally and physically when we get back so we need to prepare as best as we can.
“It’s good to go away with the new lads and the new manager to get the opportunity to show him what I can offer the team. I only had two days back before the Arsenal game with the manager so hopefully this extra time will let me get used to the new system and the new style of play Marco wants us to play with.”
