Mooy catches Pep’s eye at City
Manchester City will make a decision over whether to bring back Aaron Mooy from Huddersfield at the end of the season according to manager Pep Guardiola.
Mooy has been one of the standouts for the Terriers this season, and the Australian has impressed Guardiola with the speed of his adaptation.
The 26-year-old grew up in Australia but had already had spells with Bolton and St Mirren in the UK.
He joined City over the summer but immediately went out on loan to Huddersfield, where he has made a big impression under manager David Wagner.
And Guardiola has clearly been keeping close tabs on the playmaker as he decides whether to give him a chance in the first team next season as both enter their second seasons with City.

He said: “So, Aaron Mooy is playing amazing this season and we are glad at that. It is not easy coming from Australia and going to the Championship and play as good as he is.
“We are going to consider what will happen at the end of the season but it’s good. Huddersfield right now is in a big moment, playing really well, big results in the last minutes, a lot of confidence.”
