Pedro hitting Chelsea heights after Premier League adjustment
With his Chelsea side eight points clear and a first Premier League title tantalisingly close, it’s little wonder Pedro is enjoying life in west London.
The 29-year-old has had an impressive season, with his opener against Burnley last time out a ninth goal of the campaign for the Spaniard – already matching his tally for the entirety of last season.
That came after an initial struggle to adapt to Premier League life just a few months ago, an adjustment also hampered by the struggles of Chelsea as a whole, slogging their way to 50 points and a tenth-place finish.
But with that haul already surpassed, the midfielder is simply loving his time at Stamford Bridge, finally justifying the £21m price tag when signing from Spanish giants Barcelona in the summer of 2015.

“This is the best moment for me at this club, and also the best moment for the whole team since I’ve been here,” he said.
“We are working together for the same things and it’s easier to focus in the games when you are playing with confidence.”
“I understand the Premier League more now. It’s very different compared to Spain but now I’m in my second year here and I understand the football. It’s quicker, more intense and more competitive.
“Spain is different. It’s more tactical, it’s more about passing the ball and developing something. Here it’s quicker when you attack, and everything is different.
“You have to change mentally and it’s difficult to adapt at first, but I have changed, I have done that now.”
