Redknapp: Cherries boss Howe not ready for Arsenal job
Arsenal do not even know if they will need a new manager next season, but the Gunners should steer clear of Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe according to Harry Redknapp.
Arsene Wenger appears likely to leave Arsenal this summer and bring an end to his 20-year stay after a 5-1 drubbing by Bayern Munich in the Champions League capped off a horror month – which has also seen them fall off the pace in the Premier League.
Tension has been brewing among Arsenal fans for some time, and reports suggest Wenger is likely to step aside – leaving the board the unenviable task of finding a replacement.

Howe has done wonders at Bournemouth – leading them into Premier League and establishing them as a mid-table team with a style of play similar to Arsenal’s – and has been linked to the post.
But Redknapp, who managed Arsenal’s arch-rivals Tottenham, believes the 39-year-old is not yet ready.
“Eddie has done a fantastic job at Bournemouth but he has worked with young players. You know (world class) footballers, suddenly they’re saying, who’s he? Who did he play for?,” he said.
“You’re dealing with big stars. You’re dealing with the Sanchezes and Ozils. It’s a different level, different level.
“Is he ready to step in at Arsenal now? I’ve got to be honest, I don’t think he is.”
