Yaya: City’s Monaco tie is far from over
Yaya Toure has described Manchester City’s front line as ‘unbelievable’ but insists their Champions League last 16 tie with Monaco is far from over.
The front three of Sergio Aguero, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling were on fire at the City of Manchester Stadium as the Citizens secured a dramatic 5-3 win.
Ivorian Toure also impressed in a game that saw them trail twice early in the second half to the free-scoring Ligue 1 side.
But the job is only half done according to the former Barcelona man.
“We need to score two goals and we need to be careful – the game is not finished,” the 33-year-old said.
“We have a game to play away in Monaco. We can’t underestimate them.

“They (the front three) played massive. They were tracking back, going forward and scoring important goals.
“We see a real team because we were fighting, we were running everywhere.
“Until the end we have to continue and I think we showed that.
“As a team, we conceded goals but we are able to score goals because we have the strikers upfront who are unbelievable.”
