Clement: Swans aren’t safe yet
Swansea manager Paul Clement insists his side still have a lot of work to do to avoid the drop after being narrowly beaten by Hull City.
The result means the Swans are just three points clear of the relegation zone with ten games to play and despite a recent good run of form, Clement is pleading for improvement before they travel to Bournemouth on Saturday.
And the boss hopes his side will react well when they take on the Cherries who are just three points above them in the Premier League table.

“Before we went into this game I did not think we were anywhere near safe,” said Clement.
“We are not in a dissimilar position to where we were when we started the game.
“There’s still a lot of football to be played. We’ve got ten games to go, we’ve got to start playing well again and we’ve got to bounce back next time against Bournemouth.”
And Clement admitted his side were hit hard by the loss of defender Angel Rangel and the in-form striker Fernando Llorente.
“Fernando has been a key player for us recently. He gives us a lot of different threats. So that was a loss for us,” said Clement.
“But I don’t think the injury is serious. He’s got a dead leg and Angel Rangel has an ankle injury.”
