Fuchs confident Leicester will see benefits of Dubai trip

Christian Fuchs insists Leicester City’s warm-weather training camp in Dubai has worked wonders for the side’s team spirit.

The Foxes left the UK following back-to-back wins over Liverpool and Hull and have no game this weekend allowing them to fully focus on their Champions League match on Tuesday.

Leicester welcome Seville to the King Power Stadium knowing that a 1-0 victory will be enough to send them into the quarter-finals after a 2-1 defeat out in Spain.

And Fuchs felt the few days out of the country will do the squad, and the Leicester City staff, the world of good.

He said: “It was an intense time over the last couple of weeks. It’s good to come down and work a little on team spirit. When you win two games, that’s the best medicine for team spirit.

“Time together always helps. We’ve been through a lot of highs and lows – team spirit is great.

“You get to know different faces from the staff. They’re working behind closed doors so you connect with them and it’s even better for the team.

“We probably don’t even realise how much work goes into this. How many hours they spend on video analysis and things like that. It’s good to catch up with those guys and appreciate their work.”
