Arsenal legend Thierry Henry admitted he does not know if he would be ready to succeed Arsene Wenger as the club’s manager should he be approached.
Henry currently combines working as a pundit for Sky Sports alongside his role as assistant to Roberto Martinez for the Belgian national side.
Henry remains Arsenal’s leading goal scorer but insists he has too much respect for the man who brought him to the club to even consider replacing him.
And the Frenchman believes he still has a lot to learn as a coach.

“It doesn’t depend on me, there are things to be respected, it’s my club of heart.”
“My name is quoted to succeed Wenger, I hear that. But it’s hard for me to talk about it I have a lot of respect for everything the coach has done.
“Am I ready? I don’t know and nobody knows, but I also need to learn my job.
“I will not be a consultant all my life, but coaching is not my aim.
“I have not fixed any goal in the head, I will love it [be a coach] and I will do everything for it. But, right now, I’m in learning mode.”
