Moore and West Brom targeting a half century of points
We are only at the beginning of March and West Bromwich Albion have already broken through the mythical 40-point barrier in the Premier League.
That mark usually guarantees safety from Premier League relegation but the Baggies fans and staff are dreaming even bigger this year.
They currently sit eighth in the league table, only four points behind Everton in seventh, who they face this coming Saturday at Goodison Park.
And Tony Pulis’ side will not stopping there, targeting the 50-point mark according to club legend and coach Darren Moore.
“We won’t rest on our laurels. There’s still 11 games to go and 33 points to play for,” he said.

“This squad just keeps going. They’re professionals and the gaffer certainly won’t let them take their feet off the gas.
“The first target was 40 points and it’s great for the club to be in this position at this stage of the season.
“But the onus is on us now to keep on pushing. Everyone involved wants to break the 50-point barrier.”
