Palace’s Dann now fighting fit after playing through the pain
Scott Dann admits he has played at times this season when he shouldn’t have, but the Crystal Palace skipper claims he is now fully fit.
It has been a frustrating season for Dann, with him first picking up a hamstring injury in the EFL Cup game against Southampton in September.
That kept him out for over a month and while he hasn’t missed any other extended periods of action, niggles have limited him to substitute appearances in recent weeks.

The Eagles could really do with their captain back in the saddle as they fight relegation over the next couple of months and the defender is confident he is now past the worst of his knocks.
“I have had a couple of niggly injuries over the season and played at times when I probably shouldn’t have played, but I always want to be out there,” said Dann.
“It has been going on since early in the season, I think six or seven games in I picked up an injury [at Southampton in the League Cup] that I shouldn’t have really picked up, and shouldn’t have really played that game, and I have been trying to get myself fit.
“But I probably have played a few games I shouldn’t have played, but I finally feel now that I am back to full fitness and ready to play.”
