Pochettino calls for calm as Spurs take on Millwall
Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino hopes Sunday’s clash with Millwall passes without incident off the pitch as his team prepare to host their final Emirates FA Cup tie at White Hart Lane.
The North London club have already met Aston Villa and Wycombe Wanderers at home in the competition this season but, with a proposed relocation to Wembley Stadium next term ahead of a move into their new home the following season, this is set to be the final time the famous old ground sees cup football.
The reputation of Millwall supporters precedes them and, though the two clubs are not traditional rivals on the pitch, there will be a much larger police presence in the area than on a normal matchday in N17, while several pubs in the area will be closed.

But Pochettino said: “For me, it’s the first time that I’ve faced Millwall. I hope that all happens in a very good way.
“It’s an important game for both clubs but I hope that nothing happens. I trust that our fans and their fans behave well and that is my wish.
“Football is about trying to enjoy and happiness. In my head it’s to try to provide, be calm and try to enjoy football. That is my wish.”
