Robertson: KCOM fortress key to Hull survival
Hull City defender Andy Robertson is in no doubt that his side’s ability to stay in the Premier League will depend on how well they play at home.
The Tigers head into the weekend with a vital clash with Swansea City at the KCOM Stadium, a proverbial six-pointer which could determine where they play football next season.
Manager Marco Silva has had a positive start since arriving in the Humber, though his side remain just one place off bottom spot with two wins coming from their past ten outings.
That included a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Premier League champions Leicester, a result that left the Tigers four points clear of safety with just 11 games to go this season.

Yet with fellow bottom-half sides West Ham, Middlesbrough, Watford and Sunderland all due to visit after Swansea, Robertson feels it is clear what they need to do if Hull are to survive.
“The KCOM is our bread and butter at the end of the day and if you’re good at home, you stay up,” said the left-back.
“You see Burnley and they’ve only picked up two points on the road but they’re arguably safe because of how well they’ve done at home.
“We need to start doing that with the run-in we’ve got and the games we’ve got at home. We’ve got a few good games at home and if we can keep making the KCOM a fortress like we have since I first came here, then hopefully we can pick up more wins there.
“We’ve struggled away from home. The only good results have been a point at Burnley, beating Swansea and then the draw at Man United. Other than that, it’s been hard to come by the points.”
