Silva wants more Hull City points away from home
Hull City manager Marco Silva has said that his side must pick up more points in away games in the remainder of the season if they are to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The Tigers gave their survival prospects a boost last weekend when Oumar Niasse’s brace gave them a 2-1 victory over Swansea City that lifted them to within one point of safety.
It was the third league game Hull have won at home since Silva succeeded Mike Phelan as manager, but they’ve only picked up one point on the road – a 0-0 draw at Manchester United – in that time.
Silva said: “It is not possible that we play this as two competitions – one at home and one away.
“It is normal that teams feel more comfortable playing at home, but we have to improve our away performances and results.

“Our home form recently has been good. We have achieved results and because of that, our confidence is good.
“Away from home, we have had some good performances but we haven’t achieved results and of course we have to change this situation as soon as possible.
“We have ten games left, five at home and five away from home. We need to take points away from home as well as at home.”
