Clucas confident Tigers can improve away form
Hull City midfielder Sam Clucas has backed his side to improve on their dire away form ahead of their trip to Stoke on Saturday as their survival bid intensifies.
The Tigers have not won on the road since August, beating Swansea City 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium, and sit two points clear of the drop zone.
But Clucas remains confident his side can pick up a victory at the Britannia Stadium before taking points in their remaining away fixtures against Crystal Palace and Southampton to secure survival.

“Our home form has been terrific, but we are going to have to improve away if we are to stay in this division,” said Clucas.
“It’s difficult to explain why there is such a contrast between our results at home and away because we don’t do anything different through the week in training.
“I am sure we will improve things and start picking up points on the road, too. It may be an old cliché, but every point really does count at this stage of the season.
“It’s been important for us to get to 30 points with six games to go and you can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel.
“By no means are we safe, but getting to 30 points is a good marker and certainly puts less pressure on our last few games.”
