Olsson adamant Swansea will fight to the last
Swansea City defender Martin Olsson is adamant his side can collect enough points in their final five Premier League matches to avoid relegation, which would end their six-season stay in the top flight.
The Swans’ 1-0 defeat to Watford on Saturday left them two points adrift of safety in 18th position, having lost five of their last six league matches.
Despite an upturn in form since Paul Clement’s arrival, Swansea have managed to pick up just a point since their 3-2 triumph over Burnley at the start of March.
And though they have been suffering on the pitch, Olsson denied that there was low morale in the squad and believes the Swans can push on to beat Stoke City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

“It is not over yet and we’ve got a lot to play for,” said the 28-year-old Swedish defender.
“We can still pick up a few points if you look at the fixtures.
“In training, it’s been good. Everyone likes each other and works hard. If no one is working hard, there is always someone to tell us to step it up.
“We focus and the morale is good. Hopefully the fans will be behind us, so we’ve got to charge the batteries and give 100 per cent.”
