Kane wants more of the same from Spurs

The message is clear from Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane – more of the same please.

The star striker returned from injury with a bang in recent weeks and scored in Spurs’ 4-0 win over Bournemouth at the weekend.

That strike took him to the much heralded 20-goal mark for the third straight season, the first man to do it for the club since Jimmy Greaves.

Kane is now second on the Premier League goalscorers charts but remains four behind Everton’s Romelu Lukaku with six games remaining.

“We’ve got to keep doing what we’re doing. We’ve some tough games coming up – Palace away, Leicester away, Arsenal and (Manchester) United here but we’re feeling good, we’re feeling confident,” said Kane.

“Every game we go into we feel like we’re going to score goals and defensively we’re keeping clean sheets, so that’s what we’ve got to try to maintain until the end of the season.

“As a striker you want to be top scorer in the league, no doubt about it. I left a couple out there I probably should have scored, (Romelu) Lukaku has been doing well and it’s a good competition but the main thing is we’re winning games.

“I’ve a little eye on the run-in and if I can get a few more, we’ll see what happens.”
