Raiola says Mi-NO Deal for Pogba at United

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has thrown out reports that suggested the French superstar had already completed a £112 million return to Manchester United.

The 23-year-old France superstar has been the subject of persistent transfer speculation since Jose Mourinho took the reins at Old Trafford.

Raiola – who is expected to bag £20 million as part of the world-record fee – doused rumours that Pogba’s second Old Trafford stint was already rubber-stamped but was quiet on speculation that the Juventus man has already passed a United medical.

“Journalist = parrots. No deal done between clubs. It’s a game between Italy press and UK press who announce it first and who is worse,” he tweeted.

With Pogba expected to wear the United No.6 Jersey and earn £290,000 a week, his first coach Mohamed Chacha has backed the Frenchman to succeed in Manchester.

“Returning to Manchester United will be a beautiful thing for Paul,” he told Gazzetta World.

“He’s only 23 years old and has room to grow. To train with great players and with a great coach will always make you better. We have yet to see his peak.

“When he was [at United before] he didn’t have the opportunity to break through to the first team. Now, with his return he can show his talents.

“I don’t like to talk about money, but if the Red Devils are willing to pay so much it’s only because Paul is a great talent and a golden boy who works so hard to win everything.”
