Fuchs desperate for Foxes to end on a high

Defender Christian Fuchs is determined to help Leicester City finish their season on a high with two strong performances at the King Power Stadium.

City welcome Tottenham to the East Midlands on Thursday night with the visitors happy to have already secured a second-place finish in the Premier League.

Three points for the Foxes on Thursday night would move them ahead of Bournemouth, the team they face on the final day, and propel them into the top half of the table.

“We’ve not finished this season yet and we want to finish on a high,” said Fuchs.

“We now have two nice home games to finish the season with. Playing at the King Power doesn’t suit any away team.

“Then it is just a matter of bringing our performance onto the pitch. With those fans behind us, we can get a positive result.

“We are just looking at ourselves and trying to get the three points to end the season on a high. It will be something that nobody expected [to finish in the top half]. We have a chance.

“It’s something very achievable for us. We’re doing our best to get there and we’ll see what happens over the last two games.”
