Iheanacho: No pressure on me
Manchester City’s teenage striker Kelechi Iheanacho insists the red-hot form of Sergio Aguero has not piled the pressure on his young shoulders.
No-one has scored more goals in the Premier League this calendar year than Aguero. And he appears to be thriving in the early days of the Pep Guardiola era, with six goals in three games.
Iheanacho hit 14 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions last term, the majority of those coming as a substitute.
But the 19-year-old says the unenviable task of keeping up with Aguero is not his mission.

Iheanacho said: “Sergio is a great striker. He has great quality. I’m learning from him as well. I’m not under pressure.
“When I play alongside him I learn. Whenever I get my chance I’ll do my best for the team. I’m not under pressure because he is in good form this season, he always does very well.
“It’s a dream to have played last season and do great things for the team. I would be happy to achieve more this season.
“It was a great feeling to score my first goal against Crystal Palace and play in the Champions League against Real Madrid. I want to do more this season for the team.”
