Larsson mulling over options at Sunderland and beyond
Sebastian Larsson insists he has no intention of slowing down just yet despite his Sunderland future being up in the air.
The 32-year-old is one of seven players out of contract at the end of the month and his name was absent from the club’s retained list which was released on Friday.
He is however understood to have been offered new terms by the club with the Swede having been with the Black Cats since 2011.
He only managed 23 appearances for the first team last term however with a knee operation during the summer hindering the start of his campaign.
And while his is waiting to see what other offers he receives before deciding on his Sunderland future, Larsson insists he is still able to perform against the best.
He said: “The motivation for me is to play at highest level possible. I feel fresh.
“I just turned 32 but feel physically no issues. I will keep going and see what options there are.”
