Pochettino backs Kane for another goal-filled season
Mauricio Pochettino insists he has no doubts out-of-form striker Harry Kane will pass the 20-goal landmark for a third successive season.
Kane has failed to score in the Premier League so far this term, and has not registered for Spurs since hitting the opener in May’s 2-2 draw with Chelsea that ended their title challenge.
The 23-year-old though, was a slow starter in each of the last two campaigns before going on to get a hatful of goals.
In the 2014/15 season he opened his league account in a 2-1 win away at Aston Villa on November 2nd, but finished with 21 goals to his name.
And, last term, he struck the first of 25 Premier League goals against Manchester City on September 26th.

So Pochettino is not duly concerned.
“I’d sign up again for him to have the same season where he starts late to score and then scores 25 goals,” said Pochettino.
“He always needs to be calm, it’s always difficult when you come from the Euros and the expectation from him is massive – every ball he touches, we all wait for him to score goals.
“It’s difficult when you need to be fit and give your best.
“It’s about patience, time, hard work from him and I’m sure he will start to score again.”
