Kane looks ahead to Spurs century
Harry Kane has had to bide his time to notch up 50 Premier League goals for Tottenham but after reaching the landmark against Stoke, the Spurs striker is already targeting 100.
Kane’s goalscoring troubles in the month of August have been well-documented, and he had to wait until the fourth game of the Premier League season to finally get off the mark.
But after two goals from Son Heung-Min, and a third from Dele Alli, Kane finally got in on the act in the 4-0 romp in the Potteries.

And for Kane, who has enjoyed two dominant seasons after having to bide his time for a first-team shot at White Hart Lane, it’s already a case of looking ahead to the next landmark and three figures.
“A couple of years ago, if someone would have said to me ‘you’ll have 50 Premier League goals for Spurs’ I would have taken that quite happily,” he said.
“It’s a great achievement and makes me even hungrier to get to that next mark.
“I’ll keep working hard, try to keep scoring and make those landmarks as we go along. I want to score goals for Spurs and the more the better.
“Fifty in the Premier League is a great achievement and here’s to the next 50, preferably even quicker!”
