Lukaku is back in business for Everton
Romelu Lukaku is, in his own words, back in business and the rest of the Premier League had better watch out.
The Belgian front man bagged a hat-trick for the Toffees against Sunderland on Monday night – his first goals of the season and his first in the Premier League since March.
And the 23-year-old – who helped Belgium to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016 in the summer – now hopes to continue Everton’s strong start to the season.
Ronald Koeman’s side are currently third with ten points from a possible 12 and with Lukaku back firing – the best is yet to come.
“Physically, I needed one more week [before the international break] but I’m happy, I’ve got the goals flowing now, I’m back in business and I want to help my teammates as much as I can to achieve our objectives,” said the Belgian front man.

“In the first half, everybody was running through the middle and we made it easy for Sunderland. We didn’t capitalise on possession, the last pass wasn’t there but the defence was brilliant, like they have been since the start of the season.
“But, in the second half, we made the pitch big, everyone was playing their position and we created so many chances. It showed what we can do. If we exploit the spaces on the pitch we can do a lot of good things.”
