Alli eyes Spurs improvement
Dele Alli might be a star for club and country already, but the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder insists there is a lot more to come from him this year.
The 20-year-old has been a revelation since joining Spurs from MK Dons 18 months ago, becoming one of Mauricio Pochettino’s star players and forging a deadly partnership with striker Harry Kane.
Spurs have had a good start to the season, picking up three wins and two draws in the Premier League despite not quite being at their best.

Alli admits he has not found his top form so far but insists more is to come this year as he looks to get better and better and improve on his stellar first season in the top flight.
“I have to keep trying to improve, I can’t get carried away, I have to keep trying to make each year better than the last. This will be a tough year to top but hopefully I can do it,” he said.
“It’s a bit surreal but I’m the same kid as I always have been, nothing has changed for me off the pitch, I’m still the same person and thankfully I’ve got great support around me.
“The hard work isn’t going to stop here. I have to keep working hard and keep fighting for my place in this team.”
