Nyom happy to adapt for West Brom
Allan Nyom could have been forgiven for feeling like a fish out of water when new boss Tony Pulis asked the right-back to make his full debut on the left-flank at the weekend.
But the £3million signing from Watford more than held his own up against the wizardry of Stoke City’s Xherdan Shaqiri in a 1-1 draw and says he is happy to fulfil any role his manager asks.
Nyom has done the full circuit of clubs in the Pozzo family stable, turning out for Udinese and Granada before joining Watford 12 months ago.
He featured in 32 league games as the Hornets more than comfortably stayed clear of relegation but appeared to fall out of favour when Walter Mazzarri succeeded Quique Sanchez Flores in the summer.

Now at the Baggies, Nyom finds full-backs Craig Dawson and Brendan Galloway among his competition for a regular starting berth.
And the 28-year-old intends to embrace any opportunity that comes his way.
“Sometimes in football you have to play in another position. You have to adapt quickly,” said Nyom.
“You will have to ask the gaffer if I have done enough to keep my place in the team.
“Every game I play I will always give my best.”
