Feghouli feeling Algerian pride for West Ham
West Ham midfielder Sofiane Feghouli feels the pride of his country every time he takes to the football pitch, and hopes his Premier League experiences can help his Algeria side.
The 26-year-old had the experience of football in Spain before making the move to London before the season began, making his competitive debut in the Europa League in July.
And a first goal in the Claret and Blue was to come shortly after, scoring in the second leg against Domzale, making his Premier League debut in defeat to West Brom a fortnight ago.
With 11 goals and 40 appearances to his name for Algeria, Feghouli is keen to make the most of his experience, and admits of an immense pride anytime he takes the pitch.

“I know that when I play abroad that I am representing the Algerian people,” said Feghouli.
“They are back in Algeria supporting me and so I always try to give my best to give the best impression possible of Algeria and to make my fellow countrymen and women proud.
“The Algerian national game has never been as strong as it is today and we have a very talented squad. We have been playing together for a couple of seasons and we are maturing as a team.
“Hopefully, this will show on the pitch in the upcoming tournaments, especially during the African Cup of Nations next year.”
