Wilson concentrating on Bournemouth, not England
Callum Wilson insists he is only focussed on playing well for Bournemouth and is not going to let talk of a possible England call-up effect him.
Bournemouth have impressed again in this Premier League campaign and Wilson’s performance in their 2-2 draw against Watford – that saw him score the opener – led to some to suggest that he should be handed an England place by Gareth Southgate.

Wilson isn’t the only one at Bournemouth to be linked with England, with manager Eddie Howe also said to be in the running to follow on from Sam Allardyce after his departure earlier this week.
But like his boss, Wilson is concentrating solely on the Cherries.
“I’m just taking it game by game and trying to give 100 per cent every game and put in performances for the team,” he said.
“The icing on the cake are the goals and unfortunately my goal didn’t count towards a win, but we’ll take the point.
“I’ll just focus on club football and let the international thing take care of itself.”
