West Brom’s Phillips wants to add goals to repertoire
Winger Matt Phillips wants to become a regular name on the scoresheet at West Brom after settling in at the Hawthorns following his summer move.
The 25-year-old signed from Championship club QPR in the summer on a four-year deal and has made eight appearances for the Baggies this season.
Albion sit seventh in the Premier League but face a tough three games after the international break with fixtures against Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City all before the end of the month.
Phillips has two assists but is yet to get his first goal in a West Brom shirt; however, he is confident that he will find his shooting boots very soon.
“It took me a couple of games to settle but to be in the starting XI now is fantastic,” he said.

“I’m looking to get my best form going now and add goals to my game.
“The last couple of games I’ve been in positions ready to score so as long as I’m getting there I know the goals will come eventually.
“If you create chances in the Premier League you’ll score goals. Nacer (Chadli) has already shown that he can find that final pass, but he’s also getting goals himself.”
