McClean and the Baggies are hitting their straps

Having impressed for Ireland in the international break, James McClean kept up his fine form for West Brom on the weekend and the winger insists life could not be much better at the moment.

The former Sunderland man bagged a double for his country against Moldova and was one of the best players on the pitch as the Baggies held Spurs to a 1-1 draw.

Tony Pulis’ side are now four games unbeaten in the Premier League and nearly took all three points off Spurs before Dele Alli’s late equaliser.

And McClean is loving what he is seeing, both from himself and his teammates in the last month.

He said: “We are four unbeaten now so it’s all good signs.

“I’m delighted with the way I am playing at the moment and the team is also doing well so I am happy.

“It’s massive to go into these three games now with an unbeaten record behind us as well as that point against Spurs.

“You want to try and get as many points on the board as possible.

“As the cliché goes, there’s no easy games in this league and that is shown every week.

“We have a healthy league position, we are playing well and we are also showing that we are difficult to beat.

“Let’s keep that going.”
