Fulton vows to catch Bradley’s eye at Swansea

The slate has been wiped clean at Swansea with the arrival of Bob Bradley – and Jay Fulton spots an opportunity to work his way into the first-team mix.

The Scottish midfielder is a regular fixture for the Swans’ Under-23 side and made his first Premier League appearance of the season against Liverpool at the start of the month.

Fulton did not feature in Bradley’s first game – last week’s 3-2 defeat to Arsenal – but did make the bench.

And the 22-year-old believes he can earn his new manager’s favour by the time the festive season rolls around.

“I’ve been happy with the start I’ve made this season,” said Fulton, who went on loan to League One’s Oldham last year. “I’ve been in and around the squad for most of the first-team games but I want to keep pushing for more game-time this season.

“I’ve loved my experience with the Under-23s but I want to push on and get more minutes under my belt in the coming weeks and months.

“I feel I have been playing well. Over the past few seasons I’ve been in and out of the squad, while injuries have limited me and I have been away to gain experience on loan.

“We have a lot of games coming up over the Christmas period, so if I can push my way into the first-team plans and get as many games as possible I will be happy.”
