Chadli’s setting the bar high at West Brom
Manager Tony Pulis says summer signing Nacer Chadli has raised standards at West Bromwich Albion.
Since joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £13million, Chadli has scored four goals in five Premier League games to push the team to 12th in the table.
And Pulis says not only does the Belgium international lead by example on the pitch, Chadli demands the very best of himself every day.
Pulis said: “Technically he’s a very good player and players have admiration for good players that come into the football club. It brings the level up.
“He’s such a nice guy that they have warmed to him and he’s a good professional.

“He’s one of those you have to shovel off the pitch after training, because he wants to keep going after training has finished – and we train hard – which is testament to him and a great example for the young players.
“Chadli has come in and given us that little bit more going forwards. He has settled in very well.
“Him and Solomon (Rondon) have got a good understanding going on at the moment.
“We’re pleased with the ones have come in, they’re a good group of players and work tremendously hard as well.
