Livermore backs Hull to bounce back quickly
Hull City may not have won in the Premier League since August, but midfielder Jake Livermore insists they are not panicking yet as they seek to end their worrying losing streak.
Mike Phelan’s side made a fast start to the new campaign with an opening day victory over defending champions Leicester City, followed by a win at Swansea.
But the Tigers have suffered heavy losses to Arsenal, Liverpool and Bournemouth since, and Saturday’s disappointing 2-0 loss at Stoke leaves them 18th in the table.
Livermore warns it could get worse before it gets better but believes the positive atmosphere in the camp will help his side return to winning ways soon.
“Everyone in the dressing room was disappointed after Saturday’s defeat and we are determined to get back to winning ways,” he said.

“We had a good start to the season and it has been disappointing to lose recent games but it has happened now and we have to put that behind us.
“We’re all sticking together. We all still want the same thing and there are no separations in the camp. It’s going to be a tough few weeks, but everyone is determined to turn results around.
“We’re going to have to be a strong bunch, but let’s be honest, we’ve come through far worse before as a group.
“We’ve got a real fight on our hands now, and sometimes that’s when we’re at our best as a club, when everyone writes us off.”
